Surviving are her husband, Luis, of Winnemucca; brothers, Howard Arthur Bower, Benjamin Bower, and Leslie Bower, all of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Eddy's Funeral Home. Inez E. Boulware ELY Inez Ethel Boulware, 90, died Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M.
A native of Colorado, she was born July 29, 1891, and moved to White Pine County in 1928. She was educated in Farmington, N.M., and received a teaching degree in 1915 from the Colorado Teachers College in Greeley. Mrs. Boulware taught school at Blue Eagle, Kimberly and Ruth, before retiring in 1969. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma, the White Pine Nutrition Program and the Silly Symphony, Mrs.
Boulware was a recipient of the Curmudgeon Award, which was given by the governor of Nevada for service to the White Pine Nutrition Program and the community. Surviving are a brother, Charles Hill, of San Diego, one granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral was held Thursday at the Wilson-Bates Mortuary with burial at the Ely City Cemetery. George F. Jovich PORTOLA, Calif.
George F. Jovich, 74, died Wednesday in a Portola hospital. A native of Johnsville, he was born June 25, 1908, and had been a lifetime resident of Portola. Jovich was a retired restaurant a and bar owner. He was a member of the Calpine Elks Lodge 2432.
Surviving are daughters, Joyce Decker, of Texas, and Denise Coley of Oakdale, sisters, Grace O'Shea, of Fremont, Geraldine LaSarte and Mary Louise Pruitt, both of Auburn, Elvera Kalen and Carol Steinberg, and brother, Ernest, all of Oroville, Calif. Recitation of the rosary is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today at the Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

18, 1897, and had lived in Washoe Valley since 1962. Prior to his retirement in 1962, he worked as a fleet supervisor for the Rock Island Motor Transit in Chicago. Surviving are his widow, Lois, of Carson City; daughters, Maxine Wood, of Sparks, Shirley Nickles, of Reno, and Beverly Held, of Billings, sister, Mabel Yohe, of Sacramento; brother, Earl, and a sister, Irma Hudson, both of Des Moines, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral was held today at Ross, Burke Knobel Mortuary. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
